Instructions to Authors
All you need to know about how to prepare manuscripts for submission to Pharmacotherapy. Please note that there is no longer a requirement to submit a printed copy of your manuscript for initial submission, nor are signatures required on the Copyright, Liability or Originality statements. Co-authors should download and submit the Conflict of Interest statement, as they are unable to complete the checklist online.
Guidelines for Submitting Case Reports for Publication
These guidelines, published with the title "Guidelines for submitting adverse event reports for publication" in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, 2007;16:581-587 will be helpful for all authors considering the submission of a case report to the journal.
Copyright, Conflict of Interest & Liability
As part of the submission process, the corresponding author of each manuscript agrees to the terms of our originality statement. The corresponding author and each co-author further agree to the copyright & liability statements, and provide information via our Conflict of Interest form. You may download a form here to inspect prior to submitting a paper.
Structured Abstract Style Sheet
Research Reports, Original Research Articles, Brief Reports and some Reviews of Therapeutics are published with structured abstracts. The Guidelines for structured abstracts are taken from The Annals of Internal Medicine, 1987;106:598-604.
